Outdoor Survival Camp
As part of this activity, the children were placed in a new and challenging setting, in order to learn how to organise themselves, to overcome certain limits, and to grow in self-knowledge, presence of mind and practical wisdom.
They learned something of orientation in the forest, of attentiveness to their surroundings, and of how to make use, with discernment, of the environment in which they find themselves — to be where they are, with what they have.
Such experiences help them grow not only in confidence and resilience, but also in freedom, responsibility and a more living relationship with the world around them.
We leave the images to speak for themselves.
