Growing people. Building community.

TRIADA is a Belgian non-profit association founded in 2016 with a simple purpose: to create spaces where people can meet, learn, grow and build together.

For ten years, we have brought together children, parents, teachers, guests, athletes and volunteers through initiatives that share one essential value: care for people and for the community around them.

From this vision have grown a school, an Aikido dojo, a community running event, conferences and numerous cultural and spiritual gatherings.

A community that builds

It all began in 2016.

Not with a large organisation or significant resources, but with a group of people who believed that meaningful and lasting things are built together.

Since then, TRIADA has become the home of projects dedicated to children's education, culture, spiritual life, sport and community.

Some began with only a handful of participants. Others emerged from a specific need within the community. Over time, they have grown into initiatives that bring together children and adults, families, teachers, volunteers and friends.

TRIADA is the common home that brings them all together.

Education

Saints Silouan and Sophrony High School

A school that began with five children and a vision.

In 2016, five children began their school journey in a room offered by one of the founding families.

Today, Saints Silouan and Sophrony High School is the first Romanian Christian school in the diaspora, providing an educational journey that accompanies children from their early school years through secondary education.

Over the past ten years, the school has educated a growing number of students, celebrated its first graduates, achieved excellent results in Belgian state examinations and received awards in academic competitions.

But beyond academic results, the school's mission goes deeper: to help form free, responsible human beings, grounded in strong values and able to seek what is beautiful, good and true.

Culture & Spirituality

Encounters that open conversations

We believe that a community grows when people have opportunities to meet around ideas that matter.

Over the years, TRIADA has organised conferences and gatherings in Belgium on education, family life, culture and spirituality, bringing respected Romanian speakers closer to Romanian communities abroad.

TRIADA's guests have included Virgiliu Gheorghe, Father Ilarion Dan, Mihai Vladu, Irina Petrea, Cristian Filip, and other speakers from Romania and the diaspora.

Our aim is not simply to organise conferences.

We want to create spaces for encounter, reflection and meaningful dialogue — places people leave with new questions, new ideas and, sometimes, new answers.

Sport & Community

The Friendship Run

For joy. For health. Above all, for being together.

In May 2026, TRIADA organised the first edition of the Friendship Run, a community sporting event born from a simple idea: sport forms people and brings them together.

Children and adults, families and friends, experienced runners and people who simply came for the joy of taking part gathered not only to cross a finish line, but to spend a day together.

For us, this is what the Friendship Run is about:

joy first, health second and, above all, the joy of being together.

The first edition was only the beginning.

The Friendship Run continues on 31 of October 2026.

Balance & Personal Growth

Kokoro Dojo

The real challenge begins within ourselves.

Kokoro Dojo is the Aikido dojo that has grown under the TRIADA umbrella.

Here, children and adults discover a martial art in which the goal is not to become stronger than someone else.

Aikido teaches us to find our centre, maintain our balance, work with our own limitations and respond to an attack without making retaliation our first instinct.

Training therefore becomes more than physical movement.

It becomes a practice of discipline, focus, balance, respect and self-development.

Different projects. One mission.

At first glance, a school, a conference, a running event and an Aikido dojo may seem like very different worlds.
To us, they are all part of the same story.

The school educates.
Conferences inspire reflection and dialogue.
Aikido cultivates balance and discipline.
Sport brings people together.

At the heart of all of them is the human person.
The child who is growing.
The family looking for a community.
The adult who continues to learn.
The person who needs to meet and connect with others.

That is why TRIADA exists.

2016–2026

Ten years of growing together

What began in 2016 has gradually grown into a community.

Over these years, there have been achievements and challenges, small projects that became larger ones, and moments when we had to begin almost from scratch.

But we continued.

Because behind every TRIADA project are people who believe that education, culture, faith, sport and community are worth building patiently and thoughtfully.

Today, we are not only looking back at what we have achieved.

We are looking towards the next ten years.

TRIADA is people

TRIADA would not exist without the people who choose to be part of it and the blessing of God.

Teachers who give children more than a lesson.
Volunteers who give their time.
Parents who build alongside us.
Guests who share their knowledge and experience and open their hearts.
Children and adults who bring our projects to life.
Partners who choose to believe in an initiative, sometimes before its results can even be seen.
And people who may never appear in a photograph, but whose contribution makes all of this possible.

Each person brings what they can: time, knowledge, skills, work, resources, prayer and trust.

We work with everything entrusted to us and give the best of what we have. But we remain conscious that our efforts alone are not enough.

We are grateful for the doors that have opened, for the people who have appeared at the right moment, for the strength to continue through difficult times, and for the good that has grown far beyond what we could have achieved on our own.

Building the next ten years

We have shown that we can begin.

We have shown that we can persevere.

Now we want to grow.

The next chapter means better spaces for children, further development of the school, more educational and cultural opportunities, continuing our community events and creating projects capable of reaching more people.

To make this possible, we need people and organisations willing to build alongside us.

SUPPORT TRIADA

A donation to TRIADA supports more than a single event.

It supports a community that has been building for ten years.

You can contribute to a child's education.

You can help a cultural project reach hundreds of people.

You can support an event that brings families together.

You can help create spaces where people can learn, grow and meet.

Every contribution helps build something that lasts.

Shall we build together?

FOR COMPANIES AND PARTNERS

We are looking for more than sponsors.

We are looking for partners.

Companies, foundations and individuals who share our belief that investing in education, children, culture, health and community creates long-term impact.

TRIADA offers opportunities to support the association as a whole or to partner with specific projects in education, culture, sport and community development.

We want every partnership to be transparent, professional and centred around tangible impact.

If our values resonate with yours, we would be glad to meet you.
